This page explains what data I collect on beyazit.design, why I collect it, and what I do with it. I'm Beyazıt Çoban — an independent designer, not a large company — so this policy is as short and clear as I can make it.

Who I am

I'm Beyazıt Çoban, an independent design engineer based in Turkey. I run beyazit.design by myself. If you have any questions about your data, you can reach me at hello@beyazit.design.

What data I collect

1. Contact form data

When you fill out the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and the message you send me. If you choose to, you can also share your phone number. That's it.

2. Analytics data

To understand how people find and use this site, I use three tools:

• Google Analytics — tracks visits, pages viewed, general location (country/city level), and device type.

• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymized session recordings and heatmaps to understand how visitors interact with the site. No personal information is captured.

• Framer Analytics — built-in, privacy-friendly stats about visits and popular pages.

These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to function. By continuing to use this site, you agree to this collection. If you don't want your activity tracked, you can use browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger, or enable "Do Not Track" in your browser.

3. Server logs

Like most websites, the server hosting beyazit.design automatically logs basic technical information (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and performance reasons. These logs are not used to identify individuals.

Why I collect this data

• Contact form data: To reply to your message and discuss potential projects.

• Analytics data: To understand what's working, what's not, and how to improve the site.

• Server logs: For security and technical troubleshooting.

I don't sell your data, I don't send you marketing emails, and I don't share your data with third parties except as described below.

Where your data goes

• Contact form messages are delivered directly to my email inbox. They are not stored in any database or CRM.

• Analytics data is stored on the servers of Google, Microsoft, and Framer, subject to their own privacy policies.

• Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

How long I keep your data

• Contact form messages: I keep them in my email as long as needed to reply and complete any resulting project. After a project ends, I may keep them for reference but you can ask me to delete them at any time.

• Analytics data: Retained according to the default settings of Google Analytics (14 months), Microsoft Clarity (1 year), and Framer (varies).

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU) and KVKK (Turkey), you have the right to:

• Access the data I hold about you

• Correct any inaccurate information

• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")

• Object to how your data is processed

• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, just email me at hello@beyazit.design. I'll respond within a few days — usually much faster.

International data transfers

Some of the tools I use (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are based in the United States. By using this site, you acknowledge that your data may be processed outside the EU or Turkey. These providers comply with international data protection frameworks.

Changes to this policy

If I make significant changes to this policy, I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For minor wording improvements, I might not announce them, but the latest version will always be here.
