beyazıt”
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of beyazit.design (the "Site"). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated:
These terms cover how you can use beyazit.design and what to expect if we end up working together on a project. I tried to keep things human, but I still had to use a few formal-sounding sentences. Let's get through this.
Who I am
I'm Beyazıt Çoban, an independent design engineer based in Turkey. I run beyazit.design and everything on it. My contact email is hello@beyazit.design.
Using this site
You're welcome to browse this site, read anything on it, and share links to it. What you shouldn't do:
Copy my work or text and republish it as your own
Try to break, hack, or overload the site
Scrape the site in a way that disrupts its normal operation
Impersonate me or pretend to represent me
AI and web crawlers are welcome. I've written a note to them in my llms.txt file if they want to read it.
Content and copyright
All the content on this site — text, images, design, code — belongs to me unless clearly marked otherwise. Some testimonials and client logos are shared with permission from the people and brands involved.
You can link to my work. You can quote short sections with credit. You can't copy entire pages or resell my content.
If we work together
If you hire me for a project, we work under a simple, direct agreement — usually confirmed over email or chat. Here's how it generally works:
The basics
I send you a quote based on your project scope, timeline, and needs.
Once we agree, I ask for a 33–50% deposit before starting work.
The remaining balance is due before the project goes live or upon delivery, depending on what we agree on.
All payments are in USD or EUR unless otherwise agreed.
What I deliver
Design files (Figma) and, when applicable, the shipped website or app.
Clean handoff documentation if your team is taking it over.
14 days of post-launch support, free of charge.
Revisions
Every project includes revisions in two categories:
2 rounds of content revisions (copy, small visual changes, content updates)
1 round of major design revisions (bigger directional changes)
Anything beyond that is billed separately. Most projects never need the full revision budget because I spend real time in discovery.
Tools I use
During a project, I use tools like Figma, Framer, Sketch, VSCode, GitHub, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Things. Some of these are AI-powered. By working with me, you acknowledge that parts of the work may be built with AI assistance. I never share confidential client data publicly, and I'm careful about what goes into AI tools.
Confidentiality
Anything you share with me during a project stays between us. I won't talk about confidential project details, share your assets publicly before launch, or use your work in my portfolio without your permission.
Ownership
Once a project is fully paid for, you own the final deliverables — the designs, the code, the assets. I keep the right to feature the project in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Things that could end a project
Most projects go smoothly, but sometimes they don't. A project can be paused or ended if:
Payments aren't made on time
Communication goes silent for more than 2 weeks without notice
The scope changes drastically without an agreed-upon update
Either side decides it's not a good fit anymore
If a project ends early, I'll deliver everything done up to that point and we'll settle any remaining balance based on the work completed.
No guarantees on results
I do my best work on every project, but I can't guarantee specific outcomes like "you'll get 100 new customers" or "your site will rank first on Google". What I can guarantee is that your project will ship, it will work, and I'll be around after launch if you need me.
Liability
In plain language: if something goes wrong, my responsibility is limited to the amount you paid me for the project. I'm not responsible for lost profits, lost data caused by third-party services, or consequences of events outside my control.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. If I do, I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For active projects, the terms in place when we started will apply until the project ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. If something can't be resolved through a direct conversation, it will be handled in the courts of Istanbul.
